Rainbows Hospice for Babies, Children and Young People is the only hospice in the East Midlands dedicated to providing a safe and caring environment for those with life threatening and life limiting conditions. It is a unique place where they are truly free to express themselves!
We are seeking an experienced Youth Worker to join our dedicated team to promote young people’s personal and social development, enabling them to have a voice, influence, and a place in their community. As a Youth Worker you will be offering young people, a safe environment to explore their identity, increase their confidence and provide them with the opportunity to see new places, engage in positive activities and have someone to talk to.
The role will require you to work and travel around the East Midlands to conduct community, and home visits therefore you will need to have access to your own transport. You will also be required to work from the Hospice in Loughborough.
This role is 30 hours a week with some flexibility on days worked to meet the needs of the organisation. There will be the requirement to work occasional evenings and weekends for sessions and events (approx. 1 or 2 weekends a month).

To provide support for all young people aged 13-25 years who access Rainbows Hospice in a variety of different ways that are reflective of their individual needs.
