Here at Rainbows Hospice, we are currently seeking a Housekeeper to join our dedicated and vibrant Housekeeping Team to provide a high standard of cleanliness and infection control management in the hospice. Within this role you will be responsible for cleaning all areas of the Hospice including but not limited to, bedrooms, communal areas, soft play, and our hydrotherapy swimming pool facilities.
This role requires you to work 37.5 hours per week on a rota basis of 7.5-hour shifts over a 7-day period.
About the role
As a member of the Housekeeping Team, the housekeeper is responsible for providing a high standard of cleanliness in the hospice.

Requirements
The ideal candidate will have experience of working in a similar role, with an understanding of infection control guidelines, COSHH and Health & Safety regulations. This role will require manual handling of furniture, so experience or a qualification in manual handling is desirable. It is desirable for the candidate to have experience working within a clinical environment however, training can be provided.
As a Housekeeper you would need to be a team player with good communication skills and the ability to treat all babies, children, young people and families with dignity, respect and understanding.
This role will require you to work unsociable hours on a rota pattern of 7.5 hours shifts across 7 days. Further requirements can be found by downloading the Person Specification.
