Rainbows Hospice is currently seeking an Ecommerce Manager to manage and grow the Rainbows online retail offer through a multi-channel platform including Depop, eBay and other auction sites in order to maximise Rainbows income potential.

This role would require you to work in the Rainbows Charity Shop Wigston and travel to the Rainbows Hospice in Loughborough. There might also be a need for occasional travel to other Rainbows Charity Shops when required.  

Hours of work: 37.5 hours per week, working 5 out of 7 days, some weekend work required.

Some of the key responsibilities include (but not limited to):

  • Develop and manage Rainbows’ online sales functions.
  • Work to increase the profitability of online sales.
  • Manage relationships with online auction and sales sites.
  • Work in collaboration with the Head of Retail in developing and seeing annual budgets, targets and KPIs for online sales.
  • Drive engagement with online purchases and donors.
  • Analyse online sales data.
  • Build and manage a high performing eCommerce team.

The ideal candidate will be knowledgeable about the development of ecommerce and will be comfortable developing innovative commercial practices as well as have a strong understanding of charity retail, how it works, and key challenges faced. It is essential for the candidate to have experience working in online sales within the secondhand market, the ability to provide excellent customer service and develop a team of dedicated staff and volunteers.
